Here are my personal reasons why NOT to vote for Bayani Fernando if ever he runs for President of our dear country:
- In GMA 7’s Isang Tanong, you denied being the “Hitler” of the streets. You lied! You became a tyrant the day you assumed your post at the MMDA. You killed democracy in the street. Your words became the “law” of your blue boys.
- You may Metro Manila “baduy” by displaying pink all over the city.
- Not to mention the display of your “face” everywhere in the metropolis. Was that really necessary? You “uglified” Metro Manila!
- UVVRP or Color Coding was the worst project you every did!

I beg to disagree sir, although I’m not going to vote for him but somehow his contributions to Metro Manila is worth an acknowledgement. As an MMDA chairman he delivered significant accomplishments that his predecessors don’t even came close to his. I really saw the political will in him although there are times that some of his implementations are really restrictive, totalitarian and annoying, but I know his intentions are for the good and order of the city even if he knows it will ruin his popularity. Some of his projects may have unsuccessful results turning out to be not what was expected but sometimes if you really need to implement something you have to execute it first and if doesnt work then try to come up with a better solution. What is important is you’ve been thinking ways to solve the problems and executing it. Most people really hates tyranny but sometimes there are people who cannot differentiate order and tyranny from discipline. Mahirap naman kasi na puro na lang kaluwagan minsan para maging maayos ang isang bagay kailangan talaga ng force at pagdisisiplina. What is a little pain to suffer when the end result is for the intent of good and order. A little inconvenience may be the price of getting things done and putting them into order. Imagine naman sa pag upo nya as MMDA chairman mas naging maayos ang traffic hindi gaya noon mabubuwisit ka kasi ang mga dating MMDA chairman hindi ganun kacreative mag isip ng solution, basta lang gagawin ang work kung anu lang magawa pero walang creative ideas. Yung mga tawiran lang na gawa sa steel, mas practical at matipid madaling imaintain di gaya ng mga tawiran na gawa sa concrete na uso bago sya naupo. I dont see it that bad at all.
I agree not to vote bayani fernando for higher executive position (president or vice president). I’m infact would encourage everyone not to vote him particularly for vice president position where he is currently aspiring at the moment. However, as MMDA chairman I would say he is the best for that position for his remarkable accomplishments in metro manila.
