Now that summer has officially kicked off, most people here in the Philippines tend to hit the beach as fast as they can. With the advent of modern technology (read as gadgets), one may find it inevitable not to bring his/her “toys” during outings and staycations.
Last weekend, I was able to put my newly acquired Motorola DEFY+ (take note of the + sign) to a test during my family’s overnight stay at the Hotel H2O (inside the Manila Ocean Park complex).
The Motorola DEFY+ running Android 2.3 was released September of 2011, a year later the Motorola DEFY (Android 2.1) was launched. It is one of the few IP67 certified mobile phones available to civilians. Being IP67 certified, the Motorola DEFY+ boasts among its awesome features a Gorilla Glass covered TFT capacitive touchscreen display (16M colors), dust and water proof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
Here’s a sample video taken using the 5MP camera of the Motorola DEFY+ (at 30fps):
Now, isn’t that the Motorola DEFY+ an awesome gadget to bring during your summer outing? Wouldn’t it be nice to take some underwater scenes while enjoying the summer sun?
