A big thanks to our friends at VST-ECS Philippines (formerly known as MSI-ECS Philippines) for sending me this TCL 20 SE smartphone!
This smartphone was released in January 2021 and I should say that Alcatel fans like me (if you’re from my generation) have been waiting for the brand (now under TCL) to have its renaissance in the Philippine market. For one, the very first Android device I had was an Alcatel. The TCL 20 SE sports a 6.82-inch IPS LCD display with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio at 263 PPI density. This smartphone features NXTVISION visuals, High-Resolution Audio, and dual speakers to give you the maximum media experience.
The TCL 20 SE comes in Nuit Black and Aurora Green colors. The one sent to me was the Aurora Green colored device with dual nano photoetching patterning that reflects shimmering light like the aurora and the stars in the night sky.
With a 90% screen-to-body ratio, the TCL 20 SE can easily compete with other smartphones aimed at a better cinematic viewing experience (especially now that most of us are still at home due to community quarantine restrictions). The NXTVISION visual technology built-in to this handheld device elevates our visuals and video in real-time for lavish colors, crisp clarity, stark contrast, and sharp definition giving you the opportunity to experience truly stunning entertainment.
I will be using the Android 11-powered (with TCL UI) TCL 20 SE as my main phone this week. So watch out for my full review here at bobreyes.com in the coming days.
For the time being, please watch the unboxing video I made here:
