Food lovers and entrepreneurs alike are in for a flavorful experience as the 2025 DTI Bagong Pilipinas National Food Fair returns bigger and bolder from April 9 to 13, 2025, at Megatrade Halls 1–3, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City. Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry’s Bureau of Market Development and OTOP (DTI-BMDPO), in collaboration with DTI’s Regional and Provincial Offices, this year’s event promises to be a powerful showcase of Filipino culinary excellence and MSME innovation.

With over 250 exhibitors from across the archipelago, the National Food Fair is not only a celebration of Filipino food culture but also a strategic platform under the Tatak Pinoy Strategy Program. It aims to expand market access for MSMEs, encourage product innovation, and promote sustainability and digital transformation in the local food sector.

“This event exemplifies DTI’s commitment to making its trade fairs progressively bigger and better — enhancing both quality and quantity. This continuous improvement provides Filipino MSMEs with significantly scaled-up avenues to market their products, fostering more substantial business opportunities. Ultimately, these expanded opportunities translate directly into crucial job creation and sustainable livelihoods for countless Filipino entrepreneurs and their communities,” according to Assistant Secretary Nylah Rizza D. Bautista, Supervising Head of the DTI-Competitiveness and Innovation Group (CIG).

A major highlight of the fair is its diverse lineup of regional flavors. Visitors can explore an “archipelago of tastes” — from Luzon’s robust and savory dishes to the Visayas’ freshest seafood, and Mindanao’s exotic and spice-rich creations. Heirloom recipes passed down through generations will share space with innovative culinary experiments, while other offerings include premium coffee, cacao products, artisanal snacks, and emerging health food brands.

Guests can immerse themselves in specially curated zones designed to enhance the experience. The Fresh Produce Grand Marketplace recreates the vibrant atmosphere of a local farmer’s market. Meanwhile, coffee lovers can enjoy locally sourced brews at the KAPEtirya Philippine Coffee Pavilion. At the same time, the KAINAN Dining Area offers ready-to-eat meals prepared with the finest ingredients from the exhibitors themselves.

Innovation and sustainability also take center stage at this year’s fair. Filipino MSMEs will showcase eco-friendly packaging solutions, plant-based food alternatives, and state-of-the-art food technologies. These efforts align with the fair’s goal of championing sustainable practices and accelerating the digital transformation of local enterprises.

The fair also serves as a key platform for building business partnerships. A landmark initiative, the DTI Bagong Pilipinas Marketplace, will officially launch during the event. This groundbreaking B2B e-commerce platform aims to connect MSMEs to national and global markets, expanding their reach and business potential.

More than just a tasting event, the fair invites guests to engage all their senses. There will be live cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs, wine-pairing sessions, and dynamic business talks. Attendees can also enjoy cultural performances that capture the richness of Filipino heritage, turning the fair into a celebration of both flavor and identity.

Whether you’re seeking new tastes, sourcing local products, or simply enjoying a gastronomic adventure, the 2025 National Food Fair invites everyone to support homegrown businesses and savor the soul of Filipino flavor.
