Filipino food lovers and entrepreneurs are in for a treat as the 2025 DTI Bagong Pilipinas National Food Fair officially opened this week at SM Megamall’s Megatrade Halls 1-3. Running from 9 to 13 April 2025, the highly anticipated event brings together over 250 food-based micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry’s Bureau of Market Development, Promotions & OTOP (DTI-BMDPO), in partnership with DTI’s Regional and Provincial Offices, the fair aims to showcase the country’s culinary diversity while empowering local entrepreneurs to reach wider markets.

“The National Food Fair serves as an essential platform for Filipino MSMEs to introduce their products and innovations to broader markets. Through this event, we aim to empower entrepreneurs by providing critical opportunities and resources necessary for them to thrive locally and internationally,” according to Assistant Secretary Nylah Rizza D. Bautista of the DTI-Competitiveness and Innovation Group.
