Sony Philippines dazzled attendees at the Next-Gen XP event held at the Mega Fashion Hall in SM Megamall last weekend. The event, tailored to meet the demands and lifestyle preferences of the next generation, unveiled a new era of products and gadgets, reaffirming Sony’s position as a trusted leader in the industry.
The Next-Gen XP event took center stage, featuring a plethora of top-of-the-line products such as speakers, cameras, TVs, and headphones. The Mega Fashion Hall was transformed into an interactive space, boasting awe-inspiring installations and engaging activities for attendees. International dance sensation A-Team, emerging next-gen dance star Carlos Serrano III, and P-pop Female Alpha G22, along with the Wish Breakthrough Artist of the Year 2024, JOSH CULLEN, provided the entertainment, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere for the audience.
The event’s theme, “Next-Gen XP,” paid homage to today’s youth culture, emphasizing Sony’s commitment to innovation in meeting the evolving demands of each generation. As a brand synonymous with trust and technological leadership, Sony aims to empower consumers in their entertainment and productivity needs.

These immersive installations allowed participants to witness the versatility of Sony’s technology in various scenarios, including travel, relaxation, beach outings, and dance parties.
The Dance Studio booth featured Sony’s SRS-XV800 Wireless Party Speaker, equipped with Omni-directional sound, creating an immersive experience for partygoers. The Beach Party booth showcased the water-resistant SRS-XP500 and SRS-XG300 speakers, complemented by the A7C II camera for capturing high-resolution beach moments.
The Travel Booth spotlighted the WH-1000XM5 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones, providing a peaceful commute experience. Additionally, the ZV1-II camera allowed travelers to capture wider cityscapes with its wide-angle 18mm feature.
In the Café booth, the ZV-E10 camera stole the show, capturing beautiful images with intricate bokeh effects. The SRS-XE300 speaker added an ambient touch with its Line Diffuser, perfect for filling cafes with music. Completing the aesthetic was the WH-CH520, Sony’s lightweight headphones with a trendy design.
Participants had the chance to win featured products through raffles and social media contests, including WF-C500 Truly Wireless Headphones, WF-C700 Truly Wireless Headphones, WI-C100 Wireless In-Ear Headphones, SRS-XP500 Portable Wireless Speaker, and SRS-XG300 Portable Wireless Speaker.

Dancer-choreographer Carlos Serrano III showcased impressive dance skills, while P-pop girl group G22 and Josh Cullen added a touch of girl power and captivating solo performances, respectively.
