Salesforce, a leading provider of customer relationship management (CRM) solutions, has announced that Sonak Group will be utilizing MuleSoft to revamp its retail platform. This will result in enhanced connectivity and empowerment for both brands and customers through various sales channels. The use of MuleSoft has enabled Sonak to advance with innovative offerings and automation, thanks to its new digital infrastructure.
Established in 1966, Sonak is a global trading business with a presence in the Philippines and Singapore, supplying sporting goods and equipment from brands like Molten, Mikasa, Asics, and Onitsuka Tiger.
Sonak has relied on MuleSoft’s Professional Services team as their trusted technology partner and advisor from the beginning of their digital transformation journey. Since 2019, Sonak has been working with MuleSoft to modernize its legacy systems into a comprehensive digital infrastructure. The objective was to offer customers a top-notch retail system, including the capability to launch and operate multiple eCommerce platforms. Sonak also seeks to equip its store team with a unified source of customer information using data and analytics.

With MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, an enterprise API and integration platform, Sonak has built a digital infrastructure boasting features such as customer service management, customer loyalty programs, omnichannel selling and fulfillment, and digital marketing capabilities. The flexibility of the Anypoint Platform also enables the sporting goods trader to expand rapidly into new eCommerce channels, onboard new customers, and achieve customer and brand-level personalization, without requiring extensive hours or resources.
Sonak has leveraged the Anypoint Platform and Salesforce Service Cloud to enhance employee productivity and operational efficiency. Starting in early 2022, the company’s digital infrastructure has been upgraded with new integrations, such as an automated inventory reconciliation system, a sales integration to post both online and offline sales in their enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, and an HR management solution that integrates with the company’s biometric timekeeping systems. The flexible digital infrastructure, driven by application programming interfaces (APIs), enables Sonak to rapidly enter new markets and establish partnerships as necessary.
