Shopee Philippines is marking a significant milestone as its premium retail platform, Shopee Mall, experiences a year-on-year growth surge. With its inaugural Shopee Brands Summit, the e-commerce giant celebrated a more than 20% increase in orders on Shopee Mall, underscoring its crucial role in driving brand growth and strengthening connections with Filipino shoppers.

Shopee Mall, launched in 2017, offers a dedicated space for top brands and authorized distributors to showcase their products, assuring buyers of product authenticity and quality. Brands such as L’Oreal, PUMA, Nintendo, and KIKO Milano have made Shopee Mall their home, offering exciting product launches and exclusive deals to the growing number of Filipino online shoppers.

Vincent Lee, Head of Shopee Philippines, emphasized the platform’s mission to help brands build lasting relationships with their customers. He noted that Shopee Mall provides a trusted environment where both brands and users can thrive. According to Lee, “Shopee Mall aims to help brands to build lasting relationships with our users by providing a dynamic and trusted platform where both can thrive. We believe in empowering brands to elevate their presence and deliver exceptional shopping experiences.”

One of Shopee Mall’s biggest strengths lies in its commitment to ensuring product authenticity, a key factor for Filipino buyers. A survey revealed that 77% of upper to middle-income Shopee users consider authenticity the most important aspect of an online mall. In response, Shopee Mall introduced rigorous verification processes for its partner brands and offered an extended 15-day return and refund window to reassure buyers of their purchases.

The upcoming 10.10 Brands Festival, running from September 30 to October 10, is set to be a highlight event, with brands like HP and GOMO offering exclusive deals. As Shopee continues to innovate with features such as Shopee Video and Shopee Live, it further enhances the shopping experience, solidifying its place as the go-to platform for both brands and Filipino consumers.
