SB Finance, a subsidiary of Security Bank, has teamed up with Titanium Technologies to enhance access to salary advance loans for employees across various industries. This strategic partnership aims to provide Filipino workers with a secure and employer-backed financing solution to manage financial emergencies and daily expenses.

The collaboration integrates SB Finance’s eSALAD (Employee Salary Advance Loan) into Titanium’s HR and payroll solutions, enabling a seamless, fully digital process for requesting salary advances. Through this initiative, Titanium’s corporate clients can incorporate eSALAD into their payroll systems, allowing employees to conveniently access funds without the complexities of traditional loan applications.

SB Finance Head Corporate Employee Loan Business Jasmine Gaa, Chief Business Officer Gerard Betita, and President and CEO Abbie Dans-Casanova signed a partnership with Titanium Technologies Founder and CEO Jerry Tieng, Chief Growth Officer Alyanna Jose, and Head of Customer Success Claire Francisco.

“Employees are the backbone of any business, and their financial well-being directly impacts workplace performance and overall morale. Through this partnership with Titanium, we are ensuring that employees have a secure and responsible way to access funds when they need them — without the stress of high-interest debt or predatory lending,” according to SB Finance President and CEO Abbie Dans-Casanova.

eSALAD, one of SB Finance’s flagship products, offers flexible payment terms of up to 36 months and can be availed through SMS-based applications. It is designed to provide a safe and transparent alternative to high-interest lending options, ensuring employees can manage their finances responsibly.

Titanium’s Human Resource Information System (HRIS) fully integrates eSALAD, streamlining loan approvals and enabling direct disbursements to payroll accounts. Loan repayments are automatically deducted from salaries, eliminating manual processing and reducing the risk of financial strain for both employees and employers. The partnership also ensures that employer cash flows remain unaffected, as advances are deducted directly from future salaries.

“Our mission at Titanium is to enhance workplace efficiency and employee well-being through innovation. Partnering with SB Finance allows us to extend financial security to our clients’ employees, giving them peace of mind and the ability to focus on their work without financial distractions,” Titanium Founder and CEO Jerry Tieng said.

The initiative aligns with a growing movement in the Philippines toward employee financial wellness programs, which have been linked to increased productivity, lower absenteeism, and higher retention rates. By incorporating eSALAD into payroll systems, businesses can enhance employee satisfaction and demonstrate a commitment to financial security.
