Dota 2: Execration’s Experience Prevails
The Dota 2 Grand Finals saw a fierce clash between seasoned squad Execration and rising challengers Ivory. Execration’s Charles “Lewis” Santos and Ivory’s Argle “Ken” Llesis led their respective teams in an intense series. Despite Ivory’s valiant efforts, Execration’s depth and experience triumphed, with standout performances from carry player Denz “Denzsanity” Anedez, who averaged 7.5 kills and 10.5 assists per game.
VALORANT: ZOL Esports Secures Redemption
In VALORANT, collegiate powerhouse DLSU VALORANT Esports impressed with a direct invite to the finals. The UAAP champions showcased exceptional skill, reaching the Grand Finals despite limited LAN experience. However, defending champions ZOL Esports dominated the series, clinching a 2-0 victory.
Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza’s clutch plays were pivotal for ZOL Esports, securing their redemption after a previous loss to Oasis Gaming in the 2024 finals. For DLSU’s Xavier “Xavi8k” Juan, the tournament marked a bittersweet return to the Predator League stage.

Execration and ZOL Esports, alongside runners-up Ivory, are now preparing to represent the Philippines at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 Grand Finals in Kuala Lumpur. They will be joined by Team Secret as they take on the region’s top teams in early 2025.
