PetroGreen Energy Corporation (PGEC) has partnered with Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao (MMCM) to establish a scholarship program for deserving students in Davao.
The agreement, formalized between PGEC and MMCM, targets students pursuing courses in engineering, business, and environment-related fields. Dr. Dodjie S. Maestrecampo, President of MMCM, emphasized the program’s alignment with the institution’s mission to foster educational excellence and groom responsible professionals dedicated to sustainable practices.
“We believe this collaboration will empower our students to become leaders who drive innovation and create a better future for all,” Maestrecampo said.
PGEC, the renewable energy arm of PetroEnergy Resources Corporation (PERC), boasts investments in several key projects across the Philippines. The company has stakes in the 32MW Maibarara Geothermal Power Project in Batangas, the 50MW Nabas Wind Power Project in Aklan, and the 70MWdc Tarlac Solar Power Project in Tarlac. PGEC is also actively developing multiple solar projects in Luzon and a solar power facility in Bohol.
