Metro Pacific Water Solutions (MPWS) officially unveiled its new branding and mission during a grand launch event held at The Westin Manila last week. The rebranded company, now fully owned by Metro Pacific Water, represents a significant step forward in water and wastewater management in the Philippines. This rebranding comes as Metro Pacific Water Solutions combines decades of expertise with the vast resources of its parent company, Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (MPIC).

The launch is a strategic move by MPIC, one of the largest infrastructure investment companies in the country, to strengthen its portfolio in essential services, including water, energy, toll roads, health, and agriculture. The acquisition and rebranding of Metro Pacific Water Solutions reflect the company’s commitment to nation-building and sustainable development, particularly in water and wastewater management.

“Today, we embark on a new chapter with the rebranding of Metro Pacific Water Solutions. This transformation represents our unwavering commitment to delivering sustainable and innovative water solutions for the Filipino people. We are excited to leverage the combined expertise of the old Ecosystem Technologies brand and Metro Pacific Group to create a lasting positive impact on our environment and communities. We remain dedicated to our mission of partnering with the government in protecting the environment and ensuring access to clean water for all,” according to Christopher Andrew B. Pangilinan, President and CEO of Metro Pacific Water Solutions.

The launch event was attended by key figures from the industry, including Ramoncito Fernandez, President of Maynilad, highlighting the importance of collaboration in addressing the country’s water infrastructure needs.

Metro Pacific Water Solutions is poised to play a vital role in advancing water and wastewater treatment solutions in the Philippines. With over 30 years of experience, the company offers a comprehensive range of services, from design and engineering to operation and maintenance of water facilities. Its focus on sustainability and innovation positions MPWS as a leader in addressing the evolving water management challenges of the country.
