Salamat sa lahat ng mga pasaway!
Two (02) days ago, it was just the entire Metro Manila (National Capital Region) which was put under a Community Quarantine. Tonight, there was a (very) big development: the entire island of Luzon is put under an Enhanced Community Quarantine!
I am not blaming those hardheaded people who cannot follow simple instructions such as to stay at home (if there is nothing essential that would require you to be out in the streets) and to practice social distancing, they were a big factor for this new scenario.
Under the Enhanced Community Quarantine for the entire Luzon, the following shall be in effect from 12:00 AM of Tuesday, 17 March 2020 until 12:00 AM of Monday, 13 April 2020:
- Classes and all school activities at all levels shall be suspended until 14 April 2020 and shall resume on 15 April 2020;
- Mass gatherings shall be prohibited;
- A strict home quarantine shall be observed in all households;
- A work from home arrangement shall be implemented in the Executive branch, except the PNP, AFP, PCG, and health and emergency frontline service, border control and other critical services;
- Private establishments providing basic necessities and activities can remain open;
- Mass public transportation facilities shall be suspended; and
- Land, air, and sea travel shall be restricted.
There will be no international flights to and from Luzon effective Friday this week:
