LG Electronics has stepped up to assist communities in Cainta and Marikina that were severely affected by Typhoon Carina. The company provided free laundry services and appliance check-ups to residents of Barangay Planters and Barangay Anak Pawis 2 in Westbank Drive, Cainta, from 01 to 03 August 2024, and Barangay Malanday in Marikina City, from 09 to 11 August 2024.

As part of its ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), LG established mobile laundry stations in the heart of these barangays. These stations were equipped with 11 washer and dryer units, operating from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to provide free laundry services to affected families. The initiative aimed to address the urgent need for clean clothing, particularly in the aftermath of the typhoon’s devastation.
