The normal way to transact online here in the Philippines was:
Find > Negotiate > Send Payment > Deal > Delivery — a scheme that has incubated a lot of scams in the past.

But that has changed when Lazada opened its doors to the Philippines. Lazada, one of the Philippines’ biggest online shopping mall pioneered in Pinoy E-Commerce with Cash-On-Delivery option. How kewl is that? No more scamming or fraudulent transactions.

My personal online shopping experience with Lazada was just days before Christmas 2012. I bought my son, Robyn Andi Xeon his own 7-inch tablet (for YouTube Nursery Rhyme and game stuff). Upon completion of my transaction online, the item was delivered at home for FREE (since it falls under PHP1,000 and up purchase) after 48 hours. Oh, did I mentioned that payment was done during delivery? No more hassle of going to a bank or remittance center; and no more worries whether my item will be shipped or not after payment.

What’s your personal Lazada experience?
