If you’re the type of guy/gal who loves taking software spins to their limits (like me), I bet you have more than 10 tabs open in your Firefox at this very moment. Correct?!

I was asked a couple of times on what’s the best way to know the actual number of tabs you have in your current Firefox session, aside from counting it manually. For one, there are several tab management add-ons in Firefox that you may want to try for yourself. A couple of these add-ons have features to tell you the precise number of tabs you have in your browser at that very moment.

If you are not a fan of add-ons in Firefox, going to about:telemetry will give you a hint of how many tabs you have in your browser now. Just key-in the following in the awesome bar (address bar) of Firefox:

about:telemetry#search=browser.engagement.max_concurrent_tab_count
By going to about:telemetry under Scalars, Firefox will give you an idea on how many tabs you have in your current browser session. (NOTE: I am using Firefox Developer Edition in Tagalog, in case you’re wondering the language used in this screenshot.)

Kewl, isn’t it?
