Insular Life (InLife) proudly claimed the Best in Future of Intelligence Award – Philippines at the prestigious IDC Future Enterprise Awards 2024. The ceremony, held last 18 November 2024 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, celebrated the company’s groundbreaking achievements in fostering innovation and digital transformation.
The award highlights InLife’s Agile Academy, a program designed to cultivate an Agile mindset among its employees, known as InLifers. The initiative features boot camps, masterclasses, workshops, and tailored resources, equipping employees to address organizational challenges with creativity and efficiency. This approach has significantly contributed to InLife’s transformation journey, aligning business goals with cutting-edge digital solutions.
Central to the Agile Academy is its Mission-Based Teams (MBTs) — cross-functional, self-organizing groups that apply the Agile framework to develop customer-centric innovations. To date, the academy has launched 21 MBTs, resulting in remarkable advancements such as the InLife App, a mobile and web platform for managing life insurance policies, and the InLife Compass Super App, which enhances productivity for financial advisors. These innovations address diverse customer needs, from Gen Z to group account holders and the senior market, showcasing InLife’s inclusive and forward-thinking approach.
“InLife’s recognition at the IDC Future Enterprise Awards reaffirms our commitment to continuous innovation and transformation in service of our customers. At 114 years, InLife remains true to its pioneering spirit, leveraging initiatives like the Agile Academy to deliver meaningful solutions that benefit our policyholders and other stakeholders,” according to InLife Chief Transformation Officer Efren C. Caringal, Jr.
The IDC Future Enterprise Awards honor organizations that excel in digital transformation, demonstrating resilience and enhancing customer experiences. InLife’s achievement underscores its dedication to innovation and adaptability, cementing its position as a leader in the Philippine insurance sector.
