Infinix Philippines has made history by winning two prestigious awards at the 2024 Stevies International Business Awards (IBA), marking the first time the tech brand has received such global recognition. The company was honored with a Gold award in the eSports Event category for its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang “Guard Your Goddess Miya” (GYGM) Tournament and a Bronze award for the Most Innovative TikTok Channel for its Infinix 24/7 Online TikTok Shop.

Known as the “Oscars of Business,” the Stevies IBA celebrates the achievements of organizations worldwide, and Infinix Philippines’ wins highlight the brand’s innovation in eSports and digital commerce. Charisma Buan, Senior Public Relations Manager, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, “We are grateful to have been given the prestigious honor of receiving Gold and Bronze awards from the international Stevies. The recognition has ignited a fire in us to continue providing the best quality products and experiences for our ever-supportive Xfans.”

The Gold award-winning “Guard Your Goddess Miya” Tournament reflects Infinix’s commitment to nurturing the eSports scene in the Philippines. Partnering with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), the country’s most popular mobile game, the tournament was designed to engage the local gaming community while showcasing the powerful gaming features of the Infinix NOTE 30 Series, particularly the NOTE 30 5G.

This unique competition, which challenged participants to protect their designated Miya player while eliminating the opposing team’s Miya, drew attention to its creative format. It featured online semi-finals streamed on Infinix Philippines’ official Facebook page and culminated in a grand final at Market! Market!, where Team Pampamilya emerged as champions. The event underscored Infinix’s support for local eSports talent and its ambition to provide students and aspiring gamers with a reliable gaming phone.

TikTok Commerce Innovation: Infinix 24/7 Online Shop

In addition to its success in eSports, Infinix secured a Bronze award for its innovative approach to digital commerce with the Infinix 24/7 Online TikTok Shop. Launched during TikTok’s Super Brand Day in 2023, the shop aimed to make Infinix smartphones more accessible through interactive, round-the-clock live streams. With affordable pricing and engaging content, the streams proved highly successful, boosting sales by 25% within just five days.

This innovative approach allowed Infinix to maintain its position as the top live-streaming brand in the tech category on TikTok, with hosts continuously engaging viewers with product showcases, discounts, and promotions.
