HUAWEI turned Bonifacio Global City’s 5th Avenue into a bustling hub of innovation and creativity with its two-day “Tech with Love” pop-up event on 09 to 10 November 2024. Drawing more than 20,000 attendees, the event showcased HUAWEI’s latest devices, including the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series, HUAWEI WATCH D2, and HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2”.

The event’s centerpiece, the Pet Panda Wonderland, delighted visitors with interactive 3D installations promoting emotional well-being. Attendees explored stations focused on health, fitness, and artistic expression while engaging with HUAWEI’s playful Pet Panda, integrated into the Emotional Wellbeing Assistant feature of the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series.

Filipino celebrities Sofia Andres and Jericho Rosales endorsed the smartwatch, highlighting its advanced health-tracking features powered by the HUAWEI TruSense System. This technology provides precise monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygen, respiratory rate, and sleep quality, alongside unique tools like the Stay Fit calorie app and Activity Rings for fitness tracking.

Innovation in Wearable Tech

HUAWEI also introduced the WATCH Pay feature, allowing users to make GCash transactions directly from their smartwatches. The feature, available from 09 November 2024, marks the first integration of GCash QR code payments into wearable devices in the Philippines.

Guests explored cutting-edge health technology at the “Every Heartbeat Makes TruSense” zone, experiencing the HUAWEI WATCH D2’s ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM). Attendees generated real-time health insights using the smartwatch’s advanced sensors, demonstrating its potential as a personal health companion.

At the “Go Paint Your Imagination” station, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” took center stage, enabling participants to create digital art with its dual OLED PaperMatte display and high-performance tools. HUAWEI also launched the global GoPaint Worldwide Creating Activity 2024, inviting digital artists to submit entries for a chance to win $1,000 and international recognition.
