MyEG Philippines, Inc. (MyEG PH), a market leader in electronic solutions championing government services online automation, now lets you pay your Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) taxes online in under a minute and receive a real-time payment confirmation with multiple payment options under the company’s safe and secured 24-hour payment platform.

The start of a new year signals the commencement for businesses to pay renewal of permits, licenses, and several registration fees — one of which is paying the Annual Business Registration Fee with the BIR. Expanding its available payment channels, the BIR has partnered with the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) & MyEG PH for the implementation of its new and improved online payment service allowing citizens to pay their BIR dues online.

The MyEG’s BIR Tax ePayment platform offers an easy, convenient, and hassle-free way of paying taxes. All taxpayers need to do is simply log in at www.myeg.ph and choose among the different BIR form series and tax types they need to pay. They will then be redirected immediately to the MyEG’s payment gateway where they can choose their preferred payment option. This entire process will only take less than a minute and payments are posted in real-time.

“This innovation is part of our third solution providers to explore ways so that taxpayers can file and pay their taxes while remaining in the safety and security of their homes or their offices. This effort is much appreciated as it compliments BIR’s efforts to enhance our key services, electronic services, and offer the public different options to help them comply with their tax obligations online,” according to BIR Deputy Commissioner Lanee David.

Among the BIR Philippine taxes that one can pay using the platform are Withholding Tax, Value-Added Tax, Percentage Tax, Documentary Stamp Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, and Corporate Income Tax, etc.

Both individuals and businesses can now have an additional channel to settle their BIR tax requirements using popular options like GCash and credit/debit cards.

“MYEG has been a leader in automating government services both here in the Philippines and in Malaysia. Through this partnership with BIR and DBP, we are able to connect the taxpayers to our payment channels nationwide while we remain deeply committed in enabling government institutions to provide the ease of doing business so that citizens will have a more convenient and hassle-free way of paying their taxes online,” MYEG Philippines Chief Executive Officer Ann Margaret Saldaña said

The BIR Tax ePayment System was officially launched last 18 October 2021 and was made possible in partnership with the Bureau of Internal Revenue, the Development Bank of the Philippines, and IPAY MyEG Philippines, Inc.
