Foundever™, a renowned leader in the customer experience (CX) industry, has partnered with Children International Incorporated (CII), an international non-profit humanitarian organization, to provide essential skills and support to underprivileged youth in the Philippines. The collaboration aims to equip these young individuals with the necessary tools to thrive in today’s rapidly changing job market.
As part of the partnership, Foundever™ will offer language and career readiness training sessions to CII beneficiaries who are of employable age. By imparting valuable knowledge and skills, Foundever™ aims to enhance their employability and increase their chances of securing meaningful employment. The official launch of this initiative took place last 11 May 2023 at CII’s central office in Quezon City.
“More than just to give the youth a brighter future, the partnership aims to create a sustainable community by laying the groundwork for the next generation of leaders. Our work with CII reflects our academy’s vision of making an impact in the world through employment. By partnering with education, government, and impact-sourcing organizations, we provide access to educational, financial, and social resources around the globe. We create opportunities for individuals to join the industry and enjoy full-time careers,” according to Rowel Villalobos, Director of Talent Acquisition for Strategic People Programs at Foundever™.
The program will be implemented through the University and Community Partnership under the Language Academy at Foundever™. This initiative is part of Foundever’s corporate social responsibility efforts focused on employability. The Language Academy offers language proficiency programs to learners and candidates, enabling them to take significant strides in their professional journey within the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry.
In a further demonstration of its commitment to education and inclusivity, the company organized the Big MAX Book Drive in February 2023. This drive aimed to make education more accessible by collecting 8,400 books for the Library Renewal Partnership, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing communities with safe spaces for learning, livelihood, and support to those in need.
The donated books, encompassing a diverse range of fiction and non-fiction titles, will benefit approximately 100,000 learners in various areas, including NCR, Baguio, Naga, and Puerto Princesa. Foundever™ believes that fostering a love for reading and expanding access to educational resources can significantly contribute to the holistic development of individuals and communities.
Through their partnership with Children International Incorporated and their commitment to promoting education and employability, Foundever™ continues to make a significant impact on disadvantaged youth in the Philippines. By equipping them with the necessary skills and resources, the company aims to empower these young individuals and contribute to a brighter future for all.
