Foodpanda has launched a new feature called “Meal for One,” designed to cater to solo diners. This curated menu includes a variety of solo meal options from numerous partner restaurants, all conveniently available in one location within the app. With delivery fees as low as PHP15, this initiative aims to offer greater convenience and affordability to foodpanda users across the region.
The “Meal for One” feature is particularly beneficial for individuals with busy lifestyles or those living alone. Instead of navigating through multiple restaurant listings, customers can now quickly find and order solo meals from a dedicated menu, streamlining the ordering process.
“While Filipinos traditionally enjoy dining together, the rise of the solo economy and busy lifestyles has made solo dining increasingly common. Over the years, we’ve also observed a growing demand for smaller portion sizes from our orders. With Meal for One, we’re meeting this demand by offering those with busy schedules or living alone a convenient option to order solo meals and satisfy their cravings through online food delivery,” according to Patricia Jacinto, Growth and Marketing Director at foodpanda Philippines.
The “Meal for One” menu is a one-stop shop for meals curated for solo dining, featuring a main dish and either a side dish, a drink, or both. Some of the popular brands included in this menu are McDonald’s, KFC, Tokyo Tokyo, Potato Corner, and Baliwag Lechon. Customers can easily access the ‘Meal for One’ category within the food delivery section of the foodpanda app, and orders can arrive in as little as 25 minutes.
In addition to benefiting customers, the “Meal for One” feature also offers advantages to partner restaurants. By providing a direct channel to customers seeking single-serving meals, this new menu allows vendors to reach a broader customer base and offer unique, specific, or discounted meal options.
Foodpanda users can download the app and start ordering from the “Meal for One” category to enjoy quick, tasty, and affordable solo meals.
