The first weekend of September saw a roundup of Software Freedom Day celebrations. What more can be interesting during the SFD Celebration at FEU Manila when attendees saw a live demo of Firefox Aurora in Tagalog (a very early build).
The following week after SFD in Manila, a similar event organized by Firefox Student Ambassadors at the Quezon City Polytechnic University (QCPU) was attended to by the team.
On the 21st of this month, another SFD Celebration was held at the Far Eastern University in downtown Manila. With a bigger audience, another demo of an early build of Firefox Aurora in Tagalog, together with other awesome Mozilla built-in tools was made. A recruitment of volunteers was done after the event.
The Localization Team of the Mozilla Philippines Community has more in store for the following months. Be sure to watch out for them.
