As the world moves toward responsible and transparent economic strategies, the 2025 International Tax and Investment Conference (ITIC) is set to convene on 26 March 2025, bringing together global policymakers, industry leaders, and experts to discuss critical issues surrounding tax reforms, sustainable tourism, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing in the Philippines.

In preparation for ITIC 2025, the ACG (Asian Consulting Group) held a media conference on 13 March 2025, where it honored Atty. Loida Nicolas Lewis with the Global Excellence and Lifetime Achievement Award for her outstanding contributions to business and governance. The event also featured Bea Binene — actress, environmental advocate, and ITIC 2025 moderator — who highlighted the significance of sustainability in shaping investment and policy reforms.
The media briefing provided insights into ITIC 2025’s major agenda points, including the impact of the Global Minimum Tax (GMT) on international businesses, digital taxation policies, and investment incentives under the Philippine government’s CREATE MORE Act. Discussions will also focus on how policy reforms can position the Philippines as a premier hub for responsible tourism while integrating ESG principles into corporate and investment decision-making.
One of the conference’s key speakers will be Secretary Frederick Go, Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs, who will present policy initiatives and the benefits of the CREATE MORE Act in attracting foreign investors. In addition, the World Bank will provide an economic briefing to outline global market trends and investment prospects.
ITIC 2025 will also feature discussions on FAST industries — Fashion, Film & Arts, AI, Food & Agriculture, Sustainable Cities & Communities, and Travel & Tourism. Expert panels will include representatives from international organizations such as the OECD, World Bank, IMF, UN, ASEAN, and leading business figures.
