Earlier this year, Jollibee initiated the #MyKwentongJollibee campaign, inviting individuals to share their personal stories of how the quick-service restaurant has touched their lives in a romantic, amusing, or inspiring way. This campaign provided a platform for people to express their experiences of Jollibee’s impact.
Jollibee’s Valentine’s Day films garnered immense popularity and emotion, and now they have yet another story to touch everyone’s hearts, specifically for Mother’s Day.
Mommy Alma Benitez responded to the call for #MyKwentongJollibee stories. In a Facebook post shared in February of this year, Alma shared her affection for her son, Atticus, who has been diagnosed with autism. Although he has difficulty expressing himself, their shared love for Jollibee has allowed them to connect and bond more effectively.
The short film “Louder than Words” offers a peek into the daily bonding moments between the mother and son. It showcases Alma’s immense love and attention towards Atticus and the sacrifices she has made to aid in her son’s growth and development.
The touching narrative serves as a tribute to a mother’s steadfast devotion to her child, highlighting the extraordinary lengths that mothers go to provide for their children despite any obstacles they may encounter.
“A mother’s selfless love is something that deserves to be celebrated every day. Through Alma and Atticus’ #MyKwentongJollibee, we hope to inspire everyone to appreciate, pay tribute and bring joy to their own moms in their own unique ways,” according to Dorothy Dee-Ching, VP-Marketing of Jollibee.
