Converge ICT Solutions Inc. is revolutionizing the Philippine data center landscape with its commitment to excellence and innovation. The company is constructing two (02) state-of-the-art data centers in Metro Manila and Pampanga, aiming to achieve the highest level of certification — Uptime Institute Tier III — for both design and facility.

Converge’s new data centers will feature a combined capacity of 1,500 racks and are expected to be operational by next year. These facilities will cater to the growing demand for bandwidth-heavy applications from Converge’s broadband subscribers and enterprise customers.

To ensure optimal performance and reliability, Converge has partnered with industry leaders such as Super Micro Computer Inc. The global tech giant will provide rack-scale liquid-cooling solutions, making the servers ideal for handling large-scale AI workloads. Liquid cooling technology not only improves efficiency but also helps reduce the environmental impact of data centers.

“This future-proofing investment is in anticipation of the massive demand in the coming years for more data-intensive applications in gaming, fintech, OTT, public services, and more,” according to Converge CEO and Co-Founder Dennis Anthony Uy.

Converge has started construction for two new data centers located in Metro Manila and Pampanga with a combined 1,500 racks. Both sites are set to open by 2025.

One of the key differentiators of Converge’s new data centers is their focus on redundancy. By interconnecting the facilities in Metro Manila and Pampanga, Converge is providing businesses with a robust and resilient infrastructure. In the event of a disruption at one location, operations can seamlessly continue at the other, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.

“With a Tier III data center, each and every capacity component and distribution path in a site can be removed on a planned basis for concurrent maintenance or replacement without impacting operations,” said Converge Chief Network Transformation Officer Paulo Martin Santos sharing that both data centers are aiming to achieve Uptime Institute Tier III certification.

Converge’s investment in world-class data centers aligns with its broader vision of providing comprehensive technology solutions. These facilities will not only serve as a foundation for the company’s existing services but also enable the development of new offerings and partnerships.

By setting a new standard for data center excellence in the Philippines, Converge is positioning itself as a leader in the industry. The company’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction is expected to drive growth and attract more businesses to the country.
