The leading global provider of customer experience (CX) solutions and technology, and the largest private employer in the Philippines, Concentrix Corporation kicks off its free COVID-19 vaccination for staff last 06 July 2021 during an inaugural event in Cubao, Quezon City.
It may be recalled that earlier this year, Concentrix was one of the first private companies to announce its commitment to provide free vaccination for its 100,000 staff in the Philippines. The company is now among the first to execute its inoculation program, called Concentrix #WorthTheShot. By offering COVID-19 vaccines as a voluntary, optional employee benefit, Concentrix honors its commitment to protecting staff health and wellbeing and doing its part as the country’s largest private employer to help the nation address the pandemic.
Concentrix creates better business outcomes and helps differentiate our clients through technology, design, data, process, and people. The company provides services to clients in our key industry verticals: technology & consumer electronics; retail, travel & eCommerce; banking, financial services & insurance; healthcare; communications & media; automotive; and energy & public sector.
The company’s inaugural vaccination event saw hundreds of staff from one of its Quezon City offices get inoculated in the Ali Mall vaccination site in Cubao. The vaccine supply arrival is staggered, but the company is hopeful that as the rest of its orders arrive and as the inoculation schedules progress in all its locations nationwide, all vaccination-registered staff will be done by end of the year.
“We have always maintained that staff wellbeing is our top priority – it is ‘Worth The Shot’. So we made a commitment very early on to give free COVID-19 vaccination for all staff who volunteer to avail of it. We are pleased to finally be able to start the program today, aided by Active One’s Reliance organization, our authorized medical partner. While we do not control the speed of vaccine supply arrivals, we are committed to implement as swiftly and continuously as we get access to them,” according to Concentrix SVP and Philippines Country Leader Amit Jagga.
Concentrix, which also recently concluded the largest virtual Family Day in the country with a public online concert, is committed to ensuring staff wellbeing in all of its operations. In June, it broke records for being the only organization hailed as Best Company, Best Employer, Best BPO Contact Center, and Best Foreign-owned Company in the Philippine ICT Awards for 2 years in a row. It was also the first to be recognized for Outstanding Use of ICT Services to Fight COVID-19, for its investments in health and safety, and its support for other employment sectors.
