Canon Philippines has officially launched its latest PIXMA PRO series professional photo printers, designed to cater to the needs of creative professionals, photographers, and artists seeking exceptional print quality. The new lineup includes the PIXMA PRO-200S (A3+), imagePROGRAF PRO-310 (A3+), and imagePROGRAF PRO-510 (A2) — each equipped with advanced ink technology and features for gallery-ready prints.
“The PIXMA PRO series is the latest in Canon’s consumer professional printer, offering high-quality printing specifically targeted for Filipino photographers and graphic artists who want their photos to come alive on print. With these models, creative artists can produce prints perfect for exhibitions, archiving, or personal use,” according to Jian Liu, Canon Philippines director of Consumer Information and Imaging.
Advanced Ink Systems for Superior Prints
The PIXMA PRO series introduces innovative ink technologies tailored to different user needs. The PIXMA PRO-200S features an 8-color dye-based ink system, while the imagePROGRAF PRO-310 and imagePROGRAF PRO-510 utilize Canon’s LUCIA PRO II pigment ink system, offering 10 and 12 colors, respectively. The imagePROGRAF PRO-510 includes additional red, blue, and two shades of grey inks, ensuring richer color expression and finer tonal gradation.
Canon’s LUCIA PRO II pigment ink enhances print longevity, with resistance to light and scratches for up to 200 years — making it ideal for long-term display and archival purposes. In addition, the Chroma Optimizer technology in the imagePROGRAF PRO-310 and PRO-510 ensures consistent gloss uniformity, reducing reflections and enhancing print clarity.
Sustainability & Connectivity Features
Canon has also taken steps towards sustainability by using eco-conscious packaging for the new printers, replacing traditional polystyrene foam with recyclable cardboard and pulp molds. Each model is equipped with a 3-inch LCD screen and wireless connectivity, ensuring a seamless and intuitive printing experience.
