Seventeen (17) years ago, I decided to move away from free hosting services (and weird sub-domains) — I registered BOBREYES.COM from NameCheap.com. And from that day on, the rest was history.
Not just that I am celebrating the birthday of my domain name today; it also reminds me of how long I had been blogging. Even if I write articles for the number one daily in the Philippines (the Manila Bulletin), I still consider myself a blogger. For one, it was blogging that paved the way for me to be part of the newspaper. It is something that I always share with friends and strangers — to inspire young writers out there.
