Acer Philippines‘ brand ambassadors, popular P-pop groups SB19 and G22, recently took Taiwan by storm during their visit to the Acer Headquarters. The visit, which served as part of their promotional activities for Acer Philippines, further strengthened their connection with the global tech brand and highlighted their growing international influence.
SB19’s Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, along with G22’s AJ, Alfea, and Jaz, were awarded special honorary employee titles by Acer, acknowledging their significant role in promoting the brand in the Philippine market. This honorary distinction underscores Acer’s appreciation for the two groups’ dedication to helping the company maintain its leadership in the local personal computer market.
During their time in Taiwan, SB19 made a guest appearance on “Atom Boyz 2,” an idol survival show, where they were seen exploring Taiwan’s iconic Shilin Night Market with local stars He Yankai, Huang Chongjun, and Li Jiahao. The group indulged in classic Taiwanese street food, including candied haws, stinky tofu, chicken cake, and sweet potato balls, and engaged in fun games with their hosts, adding a cultural twist to their trip.
G22 is also set to appear in “Atom Boyz 2” and will perform on the popular Taiwanese variety show “Super Entourage,” hosted by the well-known father-daughter duo Jacky and Sandy Wu.
“The visit of SB19 and G22 to Taiwan was a huge success, showing how limitless their potential is. Their songs and popularity have reached other countries too. We are very proud to have them as our ambassadors,” according to Sue Ong Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines.
SB19 and G22 had previously collaborated on “Limitless,” the theme song for Acer Day 2024, highlighting the brand’s mission of unlocking an individual’s potential. Acer’s continued success in the Philippine market is evident in its 36% market share as of August, reaffirming its dominance in the personal computer and notebook sectors.
Princess Laosantos, Senior Marketing Manager of Acer Philippines, hinted at an upcoming collaboration, stating, “One of the reasons why our ambassadors visited Taiwan is for a very special project coming out soon. Please expect big things from us this holiday season”
