We received some awesome news from Grab Philippines this afternoon. As Pinoys try to cope with the impact of COVID-19 and navigate towards recovery, GrabExpress and select merchants on GrabFood will resume their 24-hour operations within Metro Manila beginning 16 September 2020.

As the Philippines’ super app updates its service hours for GrabExpress and GrabFood, they ensure commitment to continuously provide access to daily essentials to all staying at home, while supporting their many driver-partners and local businesses who are on their platform.

“Our drivers have no shifts and are given the flexibility on whether they would want to extend for longer hours. However our team will be closely monitoring both the demand and the number of drivers on the road to ensure that we maintain a good experience all throughout the platform. Through this initiative, our goal is to provide our drivers more opportunities to earn as they serve our customers who use our services during the late hours,” according to Grab Philippines.

GrabFood and GrabExpress will be observing local government’s curfew policies, and will not be delivering liquor beyond curfew hours. For the complete list of participating GrabFood merchant partners who will resume operating 24/7, you may visit the page here.
