ACT-CIS Representative Erwin Tulfo has pulled ahead in the 2025 Tangere Senate Survey, seeing a 4.5% increase in voter preference following the recent filing of Certificates of Candidacy. Tulfo’s popularity continues to grow across various demographic categories, including age groups, socio-economic classes, and regions, making him a formidable candidate in the upcoming senatorial elections.

It is worth noting that several other candidates have also seen significant gains. Media executive Ben “Bitag” Tulfo surged 6.42%, moving up from 6th to 2nd place, with strong support from voters in Metro Manila, Mindanao, and Northern Luzon. Former Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson also made an impressive leap, climbing from 14th to 7th place after an 8.42% increase in voter preference, primarily driven by support from CALABARZON and older male voters. Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar saw an 8.46% boost, improving her rank from 26th to 20th place, with young voters from Metro Manila being her key supporters.

Other notable candidates in the top ranks include former Senate President Tito Sotto in 3rd place with 46.50% voter preference and Senator Pia Cayetano in 4th with 46.08%. Senator Bong Go follows closely in 5th place with 45.50%, backed by strong support from Mindanao. Former Senator Manny Pacquiao is 6th with 42.21%, while Makati Mayor Abby Binay ranks 8th, and former DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos ranks 9th.

SAGIP Representative Rodante Marcoleta rounds out the top 10 with a 31.88% voter preference, largely driven by voters from the Davao region.

The survey, conducted by Acquisition Apps Inc. (Tangere) from 10 to 12 October 2024, gathered responses from 2,400 participants across the Philippines, providing a representative sample of public sentiment. Tangere, known for its innovative mobile-based survey methods, continues to monitor voter preferences leading up to the 2025 elections.
