Acer Philippines marked a momentous double celebration last 06 August 2023 as it commemorated Acer Day 2023 and its 20th anniversary with an electrifying concert extravaganza held at the iconic SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The Acer Day 2023: #AceYourWorld concert was a music lover’s dream come true, featuring a star-studded lineup of artists including esteemed Acer brand Ambassadors Sarah Geronimo, Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, international sensation Sandara Park, and powerhouse ensemble of performers that included Sunkissed Lola, December Avenue, Zach Tabudlo, Sponge Cola, Mayonnaise, Ben&Ben, and Ely Buendia.

The SM MOA Arena was brimming with excitement as it played host to a packed house of approximately 15,000 enthusiastic attendees, both in-person and a substantial online audience via Facebook.

“This concert is not just an anniversary celebration but a way for Acer to give back to the community by staging a memorable event that brings all the hottest musical acts in town, according to Sue Ong-Lim, Acer Philippines General Manager.

Guided by the charismatic Robi Domingo as the event’s host, Acer Day 2023 unfolded under the captivating theme #AceYourWorld, leaving an indelible mark on all those who experienced this extraordinary night. The stage came alive as artists belted out their chart-toppers, transforming the concert into an unforgettable party where fans danced the night away. The high-energy event also saw the participation of Predator Gaming brand ambassadors, adding to the festivities, and attendees were treated to engaging activities with opportunities to win coveted Acer products.

The musical extravaganza kicked off in grand style with a dynamic performance by Sarah Geronimo, who wowed the audience with renditions of “Cuore” and “Alam,” setting the tone for an epic evening.

K-pop sensation Sandara Park, accompanied by the mesmerizing GForce Dancers, graced the stage with her hit single “Festival,” the lead track from her self-titled solo debut mini album. The concert marked her first live performance of the song before a Filipino audience, and she continued to captivate with iconic tracks including “T Map,” “In or Out,” and “I Am the Best.”

The beloved DonBelle love team added a touch of romance to the concert with a heartwarming duet of John Roa’s “Byahe,” evoking feelings of “kilig” among the crowd.

Despite their ongoing world tour commitments, P-pop sensations SB19 conveyed their warm regards to the Acer family through a heartfelt video greeting.

Sunkissed Lola took the baton with a series of crowd-pleasers, including “Pasilyo,” “Pakisabi,” “Damag,” and “Makalimutan Ka,” ensuring the momentum of the concert remained high. The pop-alternative rock ensemble December Avenue followed suit, serenading the audience with a medley of their hit singles, such as “Kahit ‘Di Mo Alam,” “Bulong,” “Dahan,” “Eroplanong Papel,” “Ilang Beses Kita Mamahalin?,” “Wala Nang Iba,” “Huling Sandali,” “Kung ‘Di Rin Lang Ikaw,” “Saksi Ang Langit,” and “Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-Ibig.”

Rock enthusiasts were in for a treat as Mayonnaise rocked the stage with an electrifying set that included crowd favorites “Bakit Pt. 2,” “Synesthesia,” “Kapag Lasing Malambing,” “Tayo Na Lang Dalawa,” and “Jopay.”

Showcasing his musical prowess, Filipino singer-songwriter Zach Tabudlo left the audience in awe with renditions of his popular tracks, “Give me your forever,” “Pano,” and “Binibini.”

Closing the curtains on a night to remember, Sponge Cola delivered an adrenaline-pumping performance featuring hits like “Pasubali,” “Tuliro,” “Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay,” “Kunwari,” “Bitiw,” and a special rendition of “Jeepney” and “Puso.”

Gen Z sensation Ben&Ben graced the stage with an eight-song setlist that resonated with the crowd, encompassing hits like “Ride Home,” “Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay,” “Leaves,” “Kathang Isip,” “Pagtingin,” “Araw-araw,” “Maybe the Night,” and “Paninindigan Kita.”

In a show-stopping finale, Ely Buendia took center stage, serenading the audience with an array of iconic Eraserheads classics including “Alapaap,” “Toyang,” “Pare Ko,” “Spolarium,” “Ligaya,” “Magasin,” “Superproxy,” “With a Smile,” and “Huling El Bimbo.”

“We chose a line-up that Filipinos of different generations will enjoy so everyone can watch the concert and have a great time,” said Princess Laosantos, Acer Philippines Senior Marketing Manager.

Fans were given the opportunity to attend this monumental event through social media contests on platforms like Facebook and Twitter, or by participating in Acer’s Back-to-School promo. Each promo purchase entitled customers to a concert ticket as well as a PHP500 donation to the GreenEarth Heritage Foundation, adding a charitable touch to the celebration.
