To achieve its ambitious growth objectives, ManageEngine, as an enterprise unified IT management platform, has laid out plans to significantly expand its workforce in the top five (05) markets namely Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines. By bolstering its presence and fostering deeper relationships with customers in these key markets, the organization intends to invest in local talent, particularly in customer-facing and tech-based roles.
“One of the challenges enterprises face today is having multiple teams, multiple stakeholders, and multiple products. Our goal is to make managing (systems) as an enterprise — use that platform, connect as you need, and scale your IT,” according to Arun Kumar, Regional Director for the Asia-Pacific Region at ManageEngine during a recent media roundtable.
The company conducted a survey titled “IT at Work: 2022 and Beyond” among IT professionals in the Philippines. The survey revealed that an overwhelming majority of business decision-makers (BDMs; approximately 95%) have already invested in artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) technologies. The same study also revealed that investments span across multiple use cases on average, showcasing the country’s progressive approach towards adopting advanced technologies.
Preventing cyberattacks emerged as the most common application among the various use cases of AI and ML technologies with 65% of BDMs saying that they are already implementing it in their organizations. Automation of specific tasks followed closely, with 62% of respondents leveraging the power of AI and ML for this purpose.
The survey data sheds light on the proactive cybersecurity measures taken by Philippine BDMs, highlighting their inclination to harness AI and ML technologies for safeguarding their digital assets. By prioritizing the implementation of AI-driven cyber defenses, businesses in the Philippines are strategically fortifying their online infrastructure to protect sensitive information amidst the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
ManageEngine’s commitment to the Philippine market is driven by the urgent need to address the ever-changing security landscape and the increasing demand for robust cybersecurity solutions. Through its cutting-edge AI-driven solutions, the company aims to equip Philippine businesses with the necessary tools to protect their digital assets, identify potential anomalies, and respond swiftly to emerging threats.
As ManageEngine continues to strengthen its foothold in Southeast Asia, its strategic investments and focus on innovative technologies are expected to accelerate the region’s digital transformation and support businesses in achieving their growth objectives.
