foodpanda, the prominent online food and grocery platform, has launched its “pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels,” a bus adorned with the foodpanda brand that will travel to multiple provinces and cities nationwide to engage with its Ka-panda delivery partners.
The bus, which sports a pink color scheme, will make stops at designated gas stations and will offer a variety of enjoyable games and activities for Ka-panda partner riders, bikers, e-scooter users, and pedestrians. The roadshow began this month in Metro Manila and will continue to various Luzon provinces, as well as locations in Visayas and Mindanao, until the end of the year.
“We wanted to bring the experience closer to our Ka-pandas by visiting them in their local provinces and cities. Whether it’s for support and assistance on their livelihood or fun and engaging activities, we are here to make their lives better. Creating a positive and engaging environment for our hardworking Ka-pandas is always a top priority because we believe that it’s not just about delivering food but also about providing happiness and support for them,” according to Patricia Jacinto, Operations Director of foodpanda Philippines at the official launch last 28 April 2023. Jacinto shared that the initiative aims to reinforce its commitment to supporting and assisting its delivery partners while driving engagement for its Ka-pandas.
The pandaPatrol coaster not only offers fun and interactive games on the ground but also serves as a support hub for foodpanda’s delivery partners. This allows partners to personally meet with foodpanda representatives and address any concerns they may have, such as technical issues with their accounts, delivery assistance, or feedback for process improvement. In addition, partners can redeem exclusive merchandise and other items from their Bamboo points, foodpanda’s rewards program for partner riders, and interested applicants can even apply on-site to join the Ka-panda community. Along with these activities, on-ground booths for foodpanda’s partners are available during the roadshow to provide rider support and assistance and to introduce partners to the various initiatives and services available to them.
Jacinto shared that foodpanda is taking various initiatives and programs to support and engage its Ka-pandas, including the recently concluded annual panda legends online tournament that offered partner riders a chance to win amazing prizes in a friendly competition. In addition, foodpanda has partnered with Pag-IBIG Fund and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to help delivery partners access the government’s social security programs and benefits. To express gratitude for their hard work, foodpanda has launched a campaign that matches every tip received by Ka-pandas on the app, with 100% of the doubled tips credited to their accounts during the campaign period.
With the pandaPatrol: Hubs on Wheels on the road to spread cheer and support, foodpanda continues to make a difference in the lives of its Ka-pandas. If you come across the pandaPatrol in your neighborhood, don’t forget to give them a friendly wave and a smile to show your appreciation for the hard work of these dedicated delivery partners who bring convenience and joy to your doorstep.
