Leading global provider of customer experience (CX) solutions and technology, Concentrix Corporation announced its plans to offer COVID-19 vaccinations completely free to approximately 100,000 staff across the country.
Concentrix aims to not just honor its commitment to protecting the health and wellbeing of its people, but also to do its part as the largest private employer in the Philippines and help the nation in its efforts to address the pandemic.
The technology company provides services to clients in key industry verticals: technology & consumer electronics; retail, travel & eCommerce; banking, financial services & insurance; healthcare; communications & media; automotive; and energy & public sector.
As part of a trilateral agreement with the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca and the Philippine national government, Concentrix has already placed an initial order for vaccines for 50,000 recipients, half of which will be for company staff, and the other half will be donated and administered to government-identified priority sectors. The vaccinations are in-line with the Philippine government’s efforts to vaccinate all 108 million Filipinos.
“Staff wellbeing remains our top priority and is absolutely the right thing to do, and not just because of our size. We do everything we can to embrace different ways to care for our staff, and it is our honor to provide a vaccine to them completely free, should they opt to take it,” according to Amit Jagga, Concentrix SVP and Philippines Country Leader. The company’s distribution of the vaccines will include commissioning authorized medical providers to administer them accordingly.
“As a socially responsible employer that is fanatical about our staff, we’ve decided to order the AstraZeneca vaccine as it’s approved by international standards. We will have it as soon as the Philippine government authorities are able to get it into the country. As other vaccines are approved and as we get access to them, we are committed to continue to provide them for free to our staff,” added Jagga.
Concentrix was recently recognized in the Asia CEO Awards as Wellness Company of the Year, places a priority on making investments that ensure staff health and safety in all of its operations across the globe. Further details on vaccination orders will be released by the company as they become available.
